Hi folks, I know you have not wrote and that I had promised myself to write a daily blog :-( but time is the enemy at times and have not arranged it as much as I wanted.

after that I would like to tell you about the new smoking ban that has launched our beloved big government and progressive socialist (note the irony of the phrase) and its impact on the hospitality sector, which I am indirectly linked.

By law you can not smoke in bars and restaurants and this has caused many customers downloaded 50% or more, I have no exact data, and logicamenente this impacts on employment and the employer is obliged to dismiss people because they do not have to maintain it. Some even raised the possibility of closing their premises desperate for this new law.

Another thing the law says is that you can not smoke in the vicinity of playgrounds but if you can smoke in football stadiums and in the arenas, which I see as particularly absurd in stadiums go enough children to see their football teams and people are smoking around so much they do not want exposed to smoke.

But the Spanish are so we have not even protested the new law, there have been expressions of restaurateurs, tobacconists or strikes (which are also coinfected) and nada.Tragamos and point but I think if we did as in Greece or the Netherlands ( I think) that after some days of strike withdrew the law and that it was more resticted than ours, that is democracy. So if anyone reads this blog and think so please do not stay seated act for once speak well of our courage today and not the past.
